This quote is one of my favourites. As Leaders in Healthcare, we often need to be reminded of our own capabilities, and inner strengths. The OARM provides an opportunity to unite leaders within Imaging in a safe, productive and inspiring environment that both encourages and refreshes our membership. Be it through webinars, forums, conferences or effective networking, we support each other and together work towards impacting Imaging, Healthcare and our patient and family communities in a positive way.
Over the next two years as President of the OARM, along with our incredible executive of Shadi Mossaed, VP, Rick Heroux, Secretary, Luc Trottier, Treasurer, and Cindy Harper-Little, Liaison and Dawn-Ann LeBarron, our Past President, we will work towards raising the profile of the OARM.
These are challenging times for leadership. For the first time, we could have up to five generations within the work force, all with different cultures and perspectives. Collaboration, open-mindedness and precision healthcare are just some of the tools that we will need to have in our management tool belt as we move forward. The OARM is here to help. We encourage our membership to reach out, to work collaboratively with each other as a community of Imaging Leaders, but please also reach out to us. We are here to support the direction of Imaging Leadership in our rapidly changing landscape of Imaging within Healthcare.
