Code of Ethics and Professional Practice

The Code of Ethics and Professional Practice of the Ontario Association of Radiology Managers, Inc., shall be the professional rules of conduct and principles guiding members professional behaviour.

A member shall abide by the Bylaws and consider their membership in the Association a privilege and a responsibility.

Members shall promote the Objectives of the Association.

A member shall avoid using their position as an Officer or Director in the Association or their membership to gain purely personal advantage.

Any member guilty of professional misconduct will forfeit their membership immediately.

Members shall sponsor for Association membership only those individuals known to them to have and to practice the highest professional, ethical, and moral standards.

Members shall encourage a high level of cooperation and support with allied organizations.

The name “Ontario Association of Radiology Managers, Inc.” or the “OARM” shall be used officially only by the Association or its members.

The use of the Association name or its initials by an individual member in sponsoring or co-sponsoring any activity or purpose must have the written approval of the Board of Directors.

The membership directory shall not be used for promotional purposes, publicity, or sponsorship, without the written approval of the Board of Directors.
